PRR 8251, K-4S, c. 1945         
Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8251, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during August of 1918 and retired in December of 1947 after 29 years of faithful service. Note the Fireman on the tender's deck, refilling the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Gary Mittner Collection.
