Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5473, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1927, rebuilt in Juniata in 1944, and retired in February of 1956 after 29 years of faithful service. Note the hand-throttle mounted on the smokebox. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. ("PrrFan18n") |
