PRR 5224, B-6SB, 1941
Here is a photo via Harold K. Vollrath that was taken near Tacony, Pennsylvania, in June of 1941. Shown here at the watering point is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5224, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during November of 1917 and retired in October of 1958 after 41 years of faithful service. Note the Hostler on the tender's deck, refilling the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" Williams Collection.
